Ximena's Colorful Nursery
Hello Friends! How are you? I have been meaning to share little bits and pieces of my home on this space for a while - and thought, what better place to start than my sweet girl's room?
Many of you have heard me talk about my mental health journey during my pregnancy. One of the many contributing factors was this irrational idea that I couldn't properly "nest".
We live in a two-bed room apartment. Space (especially storage space) is definitely limited. M has a huge desk smack in the middle of what I thought would be a room solely dedicated to Ximena.
But it was a challenge in making it work *Tim Gunn voice*. I had to stop myself and the parade of negativity: People do it on so much less (growing up, my parents included). I was being selfish and silly! There was so much to be grateful for.
I've had fun displaying all sorts of beautiful gifts Ximena has received. From her ever-growing Lil' Libros collection (pictured above), to her own baby art gallery.
I'm proud of the space we have created together. She loves her library - it is part of our routine to come to this space first thing in the morning to read. I'll share more later on. For now, I just wanted to give you a little taste of her colorful world.
