Have a Restful Weekend!
As I continue to try to find the balance between all of my roles (as a working mother/wife/daughter/sister/friend/etc.) - I am constantly finding myself overwhelmed/tired/hungry/etc. I am making a commitment to myself and to all of you, friends, to do two things this upcoming week: one, is to go for a run. I miss running so much it hurts, sometimes. Two is to read something for pleasure. I just picked up the latest Cosmo Latina - so I fully intend to bask in all of its trashy glory this weekend.
I hope you have a restful weekend, full of trashy magazines, or whatever it is that brings your heart peace :) Here are a few fun links around the web, if you'd like to take a peak...
I love this colorful dress.
Mixed Up Clothing is a children's clothing line that celebrates multicultural identities, and is ultimately inspired by the textiles, cultures and peoples of the world. The line's creators believe that multicultural children need to have access to diverse products that reflect their reality. Unfortunately, this sweet kimono is sold out. It is some serious DIY inspiration though. Hmmm...
How to decide whether to have kids (and how to tell your relatives to back the f*** off).
When my friend told me to Crock-Pot all the things over the weekend to make life a little easier, I doubt she meant this. Oh well, looks I'm going to have to add it to my to-do list anyway. Have a good one y'all!
